BIOGRAPHY

- Abstract Rude 1st heard globally in mid 90s on label samplers with the Beastie Boys’ Mixed Drink vol. 1 & 2 (Grand Royal) and as executive producer of classic compilation turned open mic workshop Project Blowed.

- Tribe Unique (Zulu Butterfly & Orlando Royal aka Irie Lion) dance crew from Los Angeles, CA formed early 90s, Abstract Tribe Unique or ATU as they became known formed after meeting producer Fat Jack & his Mass Men crew in Hollywood - DJ Drez spins for ATU since '99

- Ab also half of A-Team and one third of groups Haiku d'etat (w/Aceyalone & Mikah 9 of Freestyle Fellowship) & Codename Scorpion (w/Prevail Wonder & Moka Only)

- Mood Pieces (Abstract Tribe Unique’s classic 2nd album) reissue IN STORES NOW (Basement Rec)

- Who Reframed The A-Team? (Ab & Acey) cd/dvd out this June 13th 2006 on Project Blowed/Decon with re-mastered classics, 1 new song featuring Mystik Journeymen & a couple of dope remixes by Fat Jack & Dr. EZ

- Currently, Abstract Rude is finishing up his solo album Dear Abbey… produced by Vitamin D. Look for a single off that by summer '06 (Rhymesayers Ent.)
